day one of the lunar new year

papa pham told me that i'm not supposed to clean anything today and i don't really know the details of this so i've decided to leave our room in it's messy state and read magazines when i really should be sleeping.

on a side note my babies are all growing up way too fast.

birthday spoils part two

it must have been fate that i discovered montreal's sephoras right around the time of my birthday and vincent longo's having a sale. i loves me some sale...buying regular price stuff sucks.

i used the purple liquidy eyeshadow in a tube from vincent longo along with my engaging mineralized eyeshadow from mac today. originally i thought the purple would be too intense for me since it's really dark when you first apply it but the color can be softened really easily for just a hint of purple. i love creamy or liquidy eye colors they're so much easier to apply than powders since you don't need a brush. i curled my hair about 6 hours before i took this picture and the curls completely flattened out. damn my healthy hair! the washroom has the best lighting in the house so the toilet is making an appearance.

several days ago i went for a family outing with papa pham and all three babies to the mall. when i was walking back to the table with a small container of fries for the kids my clumbsy ass stumbled and dropped the whole thing. obviously i was a little disappointed and embarrassed since a lot of people saw me make this mini mess but i walked back to the table and continued eating lunch. as we were wrapping up the meal the gentleman that was sitting next to us brought over a new larger container of fries that he had just purchased telling me that he saw me drop the fries and he would like to give this to the kids. on most days i deal with so much ignorance and stupidity in the area that i live in that i've lost a lot of faith in people but once in awhile something like this will happen and i'll realize that there are still a lot of good people out there in the world. i just hope my kids will encounter more people like this in their lifetimes.

sick X 5

the whole damn family is sick right now which is quite the bitch since the youngest is only 1.5 months old and it's not that great to medicate her. so for the next couple of days the whole house is going to be covered in baby snot and boogers. sexy.

i'm also pretty annoyed that i got sick cause i've been compulsively drinking cranberry juice (think 4 litres in about a week) and the nutritional guide on the back says that i'm pretty much drinking 200% of the recommended vitamin c intake. i know i'm peeing out the extra 100% since my body can't absorb that many nutrients but come on 100% is pretty damn good!

gawd i love j holiday's suffocate but he is one unattractive man.

i'm trying so hard (okay not really that hard) to be a nicer person and this really isn't working out too well. papa pham's brother's girlfriend of 10+ years is probably the nicest girl i've ever met in my life and i'm insanely jealous of how genuine she is towards everyone.

i was checking out a japanese tatoo magazine today and now i'm seriously considering getting a tattoo. i just don't want to fall into the asian fad tattoos that don't have any meaning. something to represent the phamily would be nice though...maybe the sun, moon, and stars for each of the kids. we'll see i'm pretty not interested in being in pain but i freaking made people so my pain threshold should have gone up substantially over the past few years.
