first post

yah i've finally started my blog! this is going to be about my daily activities, the babies, new cooking experiments and beauty. my favorite thing when i got to blogs is to look at pictures first so i'll post a few of my current favs and then introduce myself.

this one is for lady jane to see her baby god son as a gold fish. (sorry the pictures are so huge too i completely forgot how to resize using html and i'm too lazy to resize and then upload once more

right now i'm living in montreal, the city that i fully believe to be the worst place to live in canada. don't believe people when they tell you this place is beautiful i've been back and forth from here for the past 2 years and i've seen less than 5 beautiful places. however i must make the best of my situation and fully take advantage of the sample sales that are available here and whatever cool shopping places i can discover. if someone is keen on visiting this place i suggest a walk through old montreal on a hot day (but watch out for the mountains of horse poop on the roads), schwartz smoked meat sandwiches, au pied du couchon (absolutely the yummiest place in montreal), biodome on a weekday sometime when it's not really hot outside and rockland mall.

my latest hobby is learning how to cook properly so my husband and babies don't starve. hopefully this won't be one of the short lived hobbies like scrapbooking and chicken soup for the soul books collecting. from time to time i'll post pictures of my latest creations of they aren't burnt to crap and just plain embarrassing. i'm still working on learning how to make chinese food and once that's been mastered i'll move onto vietnamese cuisine so the babies can get a taste for both cultures.

my friend (ladyjane) has recently started her makeup obsession which is the root of my interest for playing with makeup. generally i go out with nothing on the face but sunblock but it's amazing what a little makeup can do for your general self confidence so i dabble in eyeshadows. but i don't want to turn into one of those girls that can't leave the house before they've had 3 hours of prep time partially because i think it's a huge waste of time and because i don't want to set a bad example for my daughter when she gets older. so day to day i just stick with my spf 60 and some chapstick.

this is my life in a nutshell, most of my time is spent at home with the babies but i'll be returning to work in a few weeks which kinda sucks.
