waiting ....

for the first time today i actually used the nars multiple in orgasm as a lip color rather than a cheek color and i really like the goldiness of it. today i had a little extra time so i actually did a little bit of make up. i recently bought a sample size of clarins instant light complexion perfecter in 00 and 01 since i didn't know which color was right for me. i actually mixed the two together today and it worked out pretty well, i didn't have to use foundation at all. this will definitely be on my possible to be purchased list once i get all of my benefit stuff in the mail i'll decide. i also used my majolica majorca primer and i love it! it's been a good 10 hours since i applied it along with my rimmel mascara but my limp asian eyelashes are still curled and stayed that way for most of the day. i am quite impressed by you subsidiary shiseido company you've definitely made your way into my must repurchase list. too bad this brand isn't carried in canada though so i'll have to buy it online or ask family to pick it up in asia.

i actually quite upset today...my mom threw away a rose that i've been keeping for the past 7 years. my hubby bought this for me when i turned 17 and i've kept in hanging up in my living room ever since. the thing was absolutely priceless to me and now it's gone. usually i'm not too sentimental about things and i'll pretty much throw anything away but certain items like these i was intending to keep forever and have a special place for it in our home once we move back to bc. it's gone now and there's no point crying over spilled milk but my heart hurts a tiny bit. at least we have the rest of our lives to make new memories.

on a side note i'm waiting quite impatiently for my contractions to start so i don't have to be pregnant any longer. today i tried the eating spicy things option and walking my ass off option to see if i could speed up the process...obviously it didn't work. so off to the maternity clinic tomorrow to get measured and poked and proded like i'm a piece of meat rather than a person.
